We are very pleased about your interest in our company. Data protection (privacy policy) is of particularly high importance to the management of DOCUNIZE GmbH. Use of the DOCUNIZE GmbH websites is generally possible without any indication of personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services of our company via our website, processing of personal data may become necessary. If processing of personal data is necessary and there is no statutory basis for such processing, we generally obtain the consent of the data subject. The processing of personal data, for example the name, address, email address or telephone number of a data subject, always takes place in line with the General Data Protection Regulation and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to DOCUNIZE GmbH.
By means of this privacy policy, our company wishes to inform the public about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed by means of this privacy policy of the rights to which they are entitled. As the controller responsible for processing, DOCUNIZE GmbH has implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure the most complete protection possible of personal data processed via this website. Nevertheless, Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transfer personal data to us via alternative means, for example by telephone.

Each data subject shall have the right granted by the European legislator to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies, as long as the processing is not necessary:

7. Privacy provisions on the use of Google Analytics
The controller has integrated the Google Analytics component (with anonymisation function) on this website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Web analysis is the collection, gathering and evaluation of data about the behaviour of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects, inter alia, data about the website from which a data subject came to a website (so-called referrers), which sub-pages of the website were accessed, or how often and for what duration a sub-page was viewed.
The controller uses the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. By means of this addition, the IP address of the Internet connection of the data subject is shortened and anonymised by Google if access to our websites takes place from a Member State of the European Union or from another contracting state to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
The data subject may prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, the data subject has the option of objecting to a collection of data generated by Google Analytics by downloading and installing a browser add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout(opens in a new tab).
8. Privacy provisions on the use of Google Ads
We use Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company Google LLC, USA) to measure the effectiveness of our online advertising and — where you have consented — to run reach analyses and remarketing-related features. Cookies or similar technologies may be set and data may be transmitted to Google (including online identifiers, IP address in truncated form where technically provided, and information about interactions with ads and our website).
The purpose of processing is to measure and optimise our advertising campaigns and to attribute website interactions to ads. Transfers to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google relies inter alia on Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
Google Ads is activated only after your consent via our cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use Google Consent Mode so that advertising-related storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) is denied by default and enabled only after approval. Further information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy(opens in a new tab).
You may withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings. Independently of this, you can manage personalised Google ads at https://adssettings.google.com(opens in a new tab).
9. Privacy provisions on the use of Apollo.io
We use the website tracker of Apollo.io (Apollo.io, Inc., USA) on this website. The tracker helps us attribute company visits to our website and use publicly available company information for sales and marketing. Apollo loads scripts from assets.apollo.io and may process technical data such as IP address, browser information and page views. The tracker is loaded only after your consent via our cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Further information is available in Apollo’s privacy policy at https://www.apollo.io/privacy-policy(opens in a new tab).
You may withdraw consent at any time via the cookie notice or the cookie settings in the footer of this website. After rejection or withdrawal, the Apollo tracker will not be loaded. You can also restrict tracking scripts via browser settings or extensions.
10. Legal basis for the processing
Art. 6(1) lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, as is the case, for example, when processing operations are necessary for the supply of goods or to provide any other service, the processing is based on Article 6(1) lit. b GDPR.
Finally, processing operations could be based on Article 6(1) lit. f GDPR. This legal basis is used for processing operations which are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal grounds, if processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
11. Period for which the personal data will be stored
The criterion used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After expiry of that period, the corresponding data are routinely deleted, as long as they are no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or the initiation of a contract.
12. Legal or contractual provisions for the provision of personal data
We clarify that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or can also result from contractual provisions (e.g. information on the contractual partner). Sometimes it may be necessary to conclude a contract that the data subject provides us with personal data, which must subsequently be processed by us.
The data subject is, for example, obliged to provide us with personal data when our company concludes a contract with him or her. Failure to provide the personal data would have the consequence that the contract with the data subject could not be concluded.
13. Contact person for data protection
If you have questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, about information, rectification, blocking or erasure of data, as well as withdrawal of consents given, please contact our:
